Can a USB really be used to halt alien invasion?

So. COULD a USB truthfully be used to prevent an impending alien invasion? Don’t be ridiculous. That’d mean we’d have to actually give the writers of Independence Day credit for something other than blowing things up. Besides that, USB’s are too universally compatible. No, the way to do it is Floppy Disks. Why else do you think we don’t use them anymore? They’re hoarding them all to use as weapons against the alien masses gathering at the fringes of the galaxy. Insert a couple of those and every alien drive this side of the milky way crashes. They tested it on the ships in Area 51… and even if that weren’t the case… the aliens would probably just be so confused by the existence of the things, that upon invading, they’d crash into the nearest mountain.

Good work as always Shadowman. It just so happens I have several of these floppy disks stored away in a secret location just in case they were ever needed in the future. Dig deeper, we want more.

Hey, this is probably a no-brainer, guys, but you all have been keeping your floppy disks wrapped tightly in aluminum foil, right? If not, your data may already have been compromised by aliens....
